Booking Spirit of Adventure
Advanced booking s for groups and individuals are secured with a deposit cheque or credit card of £20 for an individual or £100 for a full charter.
Payment can be made by credit card over the phone or Cheque made payable to Mr Nigel Smith.
Bookings are confirmed in writing with a receipt, together with an invoice for the full amount.
The balance is payable on the day of the trip – cash or credit card on the day.
A deposit is only refundable in the following circumstances:
• The dive trip is cancelled by the Skipper due to bad weather
• Customer gives at least 14 days notice of cancellation
• Under 14 days notice, Spirit of Adventure was able to fill the vacancy with another dive group
Short notice cancellation of less than 14 days may result in the customer becoming liable for 100% of the individual fee, or 75% of the charter fee should Spirit of Adventure not be able to fill the vacancy.
Claims against the operator will not be accepted in the event of his illness, vessel malfunction or act outside of his control, including any fishing bans which may come into force.
The Skipper reserves the right to alter the trip details at any time due to weather conditions.
Based at Kyle of Lochalsh on the North West Coast of Scotland, Spirit of Adventure is
within easy reach of some of the best diving spots in Scotland.
The famous HMS Port Napier is only 1.5 miles from our home port!
Spirit of Adventure has a heated cabin for warming up or for non diving members of the party. There is plenty deck space for stowing gear. The boat is fast and stable and makes an excellent dive platform. The west coast is renowned for its crystal clear waters, and Kyle of Lochalsh our home port is no exception.
We have a choice of dive locations within easy reach and can pick and chose our day dependent on weather, we are never far from shelter. Dive sites located in and around Lochalsh are such that diving can be accomplished in most weather and sea conditions. The sites offer interesting rock formations including small walls and overhangs, other sites include extensive underwater vegetation including large kelp beds. We have three wrecks within easy reach and other interesting sites only a sort cruise away.
